What do you picture when you hear the word “internship”? Coffee runs, menial tasks, and late nights at the office are the images that run through most minds. But the International Church of Barcelona has taken on a new meaning to the word “internship”.

There will be coffee runs— but to the local café where you’ll meet with a new student studying abroad who is looking for a friend.

There will be menial tasks—but ones that you will get to see the fruit of. No task is too small on our team, and everything we do is with the intent of reaching the people around us.

There will be late nights at the office—because you’ll be given the chance to lead a community group, a prayer night, or ministry events that are enhancing the Kingdom of God.

Expectations as an intern at ICB:
  • Working 40 hours a week (15-20 hours for part-time)
  • Raising your own support to live in Barcelona
  • Pursuing spiritual & emotional growth during time here
  • The ability to be adaptable and do any task! No task is too small on our team.

During your time in Barcelona, our desire is for you to grow personally and spiritually while walking away with an international experience you’ll never forget. If you would like to join us for a time between 6 weeks – 11 months, the first step is filling out the application below!

**Your ability to be accepted as an intern is contingent upon your immigration status. If you are not an EU citizen, research your country’s Spanish immigration laws and visa requirements.
